Psychotherapy & the Rest and Restore Protocol™ for Women
Bringing together support and somatic tools to soothe stressed nervous systems.
Hi, I’m Kindra. I’m a Maine and California licensed psychotherapist with a practice focused on women’s wellness.
With more than two decades of experience, I am a seasoned therapist who believes women deserve better than just getting by. Whether you’re here for something recent and situational, or you’ve been struggling for a while, I offer you a space to slow down, take a deep breath, listen to the wisdom in your symptoms, and begin a new path forward.
The women I see in my practice are wonderful, unique individuals. They also have one thing in common—they’re experiencing high levels of stress.
Stress from demanding work
Stress from new motherhood
Stress from midlife or peri/menopause
Stress from chronic health concerns
Stress from past trauma
Stress from present day challenges
Stress from difficulty saying “no”
Stress from trying to be perfect and do it all
They’re also ready for relief.
The solution isn’t to work harder.
Or to be less sensitive.
Or have fewer needs.
I offer tools and techniques that get to the root and provide nourishment.
Trauma-informed, compassion-focused psychotherapy to support you, so you can shift out of feeling stuck, triggered or overwhelmed, to responsive, resilient and able to relax.
I’m also a Certified Rest & Restore Protocol™ Provider—offering 3 types of listening support
Integrated with psychotherapy (at no additional charge), offered as adjunctive therapy, and as a non-therapy service with nervous system coaching or consultation.
Integrating “top down” and “bottom up” techniques, we can focus on your needs and concerns in a way that is uniquely tailored for you.
