Support for Anxiety, Depression, Life Chapters and Changes

Online Therapy | Northern California and Southern Maine

Offerings

With more than two decades of experience, I currently welcome clients in person at my office in Brunswick and virtually throughout Southern Maine and the San Francisco Bay Area of California. I offer more time-limited therapy for situational stressors and longer-term options for clients who may benefit from therapy at a more gradual pace. My practice focuses primarily on women’s mental health and wellness (18 to 80+), including support for depression, relational and general anxiety, perinatal/peripartum needs, mid-life and perimenopausal adjustments and re-evaluation.

How I Can Help

My clinical approach blends talk therapy and mind-body awareness and techniques, drawing from the fields of mindfulness and mindful self-compassion, neuroscience, nervous system understanding, somatic therapy, and research on well-being and resilience. The following are just some of the areas we might focus on in our work together:

  • Develop practices to feel more grounded, present, and connected

  • Lessen painful or emotionally-charged memories or stuck patterns

  • Better understand and respond to symptoms of anxiety and depression

  • Navigate a time of change with increased support and self-compassion

  • Explore and connect with inner strengths and resources

  • Increase your capacity for self-care or care from others

  • Build healthy habits for overall emotional well-being

  • Develop improved work/life “balance”

  • Feel more like yourself again
